eeeey, what's going on here?

hello Newgrounds, its been about two months since i last posted, and dude, let me tell you, since that first post, so much progress has been made on the animation dude. like wow. it's wrapping together.

anyway, let's recap what's happened since then.

so, in June, i dropped the first trailer for Ty and Friends: Vavaveraki, which is the title of the new animation. i totally forgot to post it up on here, but regardless, it's on my youtube, here's a link if you wanna see what's up. Ty and Friends: Vavaveraki Trailer

aside from that, it's been a quiet year, which is something that's been weighing on me a little bit, but at the same time, i know that what i'm working on is worth the wait, and i'm taking it day by day, my own pace, and i'm enjoying the process. that's the best part of hobby animation i reckon.

one of the other best parts is the ability to redesign your characters WHENEVER you want...

nah just kidding, i don't plan on having a major redesign makeover at this time, but i had this vision like last week, so I drew it here (in Yuji Uekawa style of course)

Now... Of course... This is... Weird...

and i totally get that. honestly this looked better in my head, but at the same time i don't wanna discard this design. i feel like with a few tweaks the yellow shoes could work? but i'd probably use it for an alternative design, similarly to Sonic's design in Sonic Riders.

anyway i also made a red variant because i didn't want the whole drawing to be ruined by a bad colour choice.

those weird cuff ankle things, we will just have to live with. you'd be surprised by how hard it would be to extend those legs to the shoes.

anyway, aside from the yellow shoes and the trailer, not much else to say! i uploaded a new drawing to my art tab to look at, also in the Yuji Uekawa style, which is probably going to be the thumbnail for the animation when it drops, but other than that, i'll keep doing my thing, and i'll keep in touch momentarily until we get closer to release.
